Ex Construction Site Engineer Graham is your host he left his proper career job for this lifestyle job in 2017  having lived here for nearly 20 years.

I love this area and see it as my duty that you enjoy your stay and make it easy for you to see the best of this area. I have tried to provide information to help make it easy for you to do so.

I have walked and cycled various parts of Europe and beyond so know what you need after a day out, having stayed in similar accommodation, and try to provide this at Cleikum Mill Lodge.

If your like me the our bikes are pretty important to us, so rest easy they are well looked after here and and have the facilities and security to be treated as VIP,s as well .

I  have cycled all my life and knows this area extensively by car, bike, on foot and public transport.

I pretty much run the place on my own as its my job not a hobby or investment  , but have occasional (and essential) help from Cath who teaches at the local University. She is embedded in Innerleithen life, you may see her helping in other business’s in the High St.  She has helped from my opening day. Her son travels and works with Pro Teams in the UCI Downhill Mtb Series carving a name out for himself in media travelling the mtb circuit year round and has over 13,500 followers on Insta!
