The comfortable lounge area allows your group to relax and unwind after a day exploring the local area. If you’re looking for a night in, there is a TV and board games. Books and maps are available to help you plan your stay, and a notice-board has up to date information on local events and weather forecasts.
There is a table in the lounge that offers desk type space with 2 chairs.
There is a large well-equipped kitchen/diner with a table/seating for 4 to 6 , range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
Bedroom 1 has two single beds that can be zipped together to make a double. NB. If you want them set up as a double, please let us know in advance. The duvets provided are singles only.
Bedroom 2 has two single beds.
Bed linen is provided.
There is a bathroom with over-bath shower, basin and toilet. Towels provided.
We have indoor storage in a dedicated room inside The Lodge so you can fettle your bike/equipment after a day exploring and not need to go outside.
There is also a bench , bike repair stand and track pump and a few simple tools for your use.
There are wall mounted chains to secure your bikes to with your own locks. . We issue a key to lock the door at night too for additional security. The bike store also has a grill on the window.

We provide a hose and a selection of brushes and rags to make bike cleaning easy. The hose and tap is just inside the front door and ready for action all year round.
The Bike Store is also a drying room to dry clothing and footwear. A washing machine and tumble drier are available for your use and there is lots of hanging space to put kit on hangers .
The dehumidifier is a wall mounted and connected to water outlet, for hassle free drying of wet kit.
With an additional heater the room quickly reaches 25 degrees centigrade when required.

There is a small gravel area to the front of the building.
There is a car park along Hall Street we prefer guests to use , approx 100m away to avoid street parking outside neighbours houses.
There is a parking bay out front of the building for off peak parking as well, although most guests park there with no issues all day.)
