The Area

Often referred to as the Valley of the Bike people, the Tweed Valley in the Scottish Borders has become one of the world’s leading destinations for anyone who likes to spend their recreational time on two wheels!

The area is home to a diversity of landscapes from forest, hills and wild moorland around Peebles to flatter, neatly farmed arable land to the east. This area is a magnet for those drawn to wild beauty and a desire for adventure. There are a choice of wild swimming spots, the closest a few minutes walk away!

We have a 14 day itinerary folder for you to choose from for suggested day/half days out and these are the non biking options!  All tried and tested (by us) and with the information to make it easy for you

The bike store is internal to the building, with chains to secure around your bikes. (Bring your own locks.). The window has a security grill.  The room is locked for added security we give you a key to the reinforced door., there is plenty of space to store and work on them as well.

Each apartment has a key code locked  door to gain access from the Hallway if the building is being shared.

What to do

The surrounding area has countless walking/running, fishing, road and mountain bike opportunities and there are numerous fascinating events throughout the year.  This includes traditional Highland Games, the popular Agricultural Show and a multitude of sporting events and festivals, making this a place to visit time and again all year round.

We are close to the vibrant City of Edinburgh , but a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city , it makes a nice day trip or evening visit and we are an alternative place to base yourself if attending an Event or Festival in the Capital.
